Buffets are a great way to binge in Singapore. They contain a lot of luxurious foods from oysters to lobsters to premium beef. This article would be aiming to promote 3 of the most luxurious buffets that I had found in Singapore in order to enhance your eating experience whenever you are going to the little red dot.
1. Basilico
Located strategically at the Regent Hotel Singapore, Basilico is a buffet restaurant aimed towards the higher end of eating. Once you are in the restaurant, you can immediately feel the restaurant’s grandeur settings and their luxurious looking seats. When you look above in the central area, there is a grand chandelier hanging above the guests. Top chefs would be inspecting in order to restock on any food that is lacking. There is also a wine area where you would be able to purchase fine wine for your consumption. The food in Basilico is also arranged in a manner that would whet your appetite. One of the most satisfying dish that I had there was their fresh lobsters and crabs; succulent and aromatic.
2. 10@Claymore
Another of my personal picks would be at 10@Claymore. This luxurious buffet restaurant contains hundreds of dishes with premium dishes like oysters (air flown from the US), lobsters and crabs. The cheese platter is not too shabby where their cheese are all shipped from abroad, ensuring only the finest. The gammon ham that they serve at 10@Claymore is also exquisite. It is not too salty and tastes smooth for the mouth. 10@Clyamore also serves up a unique menu where you could select unlimited dishes from their array of exclusive dishes like the shark’s fin or US Angus Beef. The sea perch from their unique menu is a favorite of mine where the flesh of the perch is tangy and filled with tasty fats. All of them taste absolutely scintillating. The desserts in 10@Claymore are impeccable; all arranged exquisitely ensuring luxury eating amongst all. Surprisingly, triple chocolate ice cream captivated my taste buds and heart for it is rich and creamy; making a chocolate lover like me melt. The seating arrangements inside 10@Claymore are also perfect; allowing space for people to maneuver about and exudes a certain luxury brand of class.
3. Olive Tree
Olive Tree at the Intercontinental Hotel Singapore probably boasts of the freshest seafood all shipped directly from Australia to guarantee freshness. The waiters are all polite and courteous, meeting any tasks you want to do. At the cold dish section lays a ice sculpture in the middle for guest to revel in. The variety of seafood in the Olive Tree is filled with so many delicious dishes with the plethora of them being very fresh. Their prawns are fresh and sweet and their crabs are fat and full of meat. The Tasmanian Oysters are also a luxury; it tastes like bliss in the mouth. The Japanese Section of the restaurant is also very good where skilled chefs would cut your sashimi accordingly to your instructions. There is even a local celebrity chef in the restaurant to meet and talk to us about our happiness and satisfaction about the restaurant, making it a cert to luxurious eating in Singapore.
