Discontented being a colony for the British, Singapore gained full independence on 1965 after being separated after a brief merger with Malaysia. It has since witnessed a industrialized revolution from a small nation in turmoil to one of the Four Asian Tigers, renowned for being an advanced country famous for being an International Financial Center.
