Cruising Singapore: Superstar Virgo Pt 2

Unlike most cruise ships, the Superstar Virgo that is cruising Singapore offers much more than just food and entertainment. Their fitness and exercise facilities are top notch too, with the latest equipments and well polished weights from the gym. For the kids, the Superstar Virgo also has its own arcade with a variety of games for any playful child to enjoy.

Exercise and Fitness

If you are worried about your calories and carbohydrates building up while enjoying the Superstar Virgo, relax as the cruise has a fitness centre catered specially to those who loves to workout. While cruising Singapore, you can enter the Apollo Spa & Fitness Centre at any given time. Just like its name, it has both spa and fitness facilities, where the spas in Virgo are superbly decorated.

Unlike other cruises that are cruising in Singapore, Superstar Virgo also has a fun gigantic chess and checkers board on the top of its deck. Friends and family can engage in a mind boggling duel of wits while exercising their arms out moving the pawns. But be warned that the chess pieces weigh a ton.

The large Pantheon Pool cannot be discounted as well. This enormous cruise pool can contain more than a hundred people, with child friendly depth for the youngsters to enjoy in some water sports. The enormous slide will be great fun for the kids too. Four jacuzzi baths are also available with their hot and steamy water bathing day or night. Early in the morning and feeling drowsy, hit the deck on Star Cruise's Star Track to wash away any grouses with a jog.

Games and Other Facilities

If you have kids on board with you on your journey of cruising Singapore, then they will be delighted to hear that Virgo has a full fledged arcade centre for them. They are updated with the current and latest arcade games like Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom. You can collect coupons from various games in the arcade to exchange for gifts and small trinkets from the counter. The arcade also sells various memorabilia from Star Cruises like their caps.

The on board shopping experience is impressive as well, boasting an area full of merchandise and other gifts for your relatives when you get back onshore. By cruising Singapore with Star Cruises, you might see that there are mascots waiting at the entrance of the ship waiting for you to take photos. These photos are sold at their own gallery where they display all of the photographs all printed and ready to go. However, be sure to note that they are albeit pricier than usual.

You would be wise to treat your other half to a relaxing hair treatment in the Virgo's very own Oscar's Salon. They would help do your hair, perm them and even style it to the way you like it. Another interesting thing about Star Cruises' Virgo is their great childcare services. You can drop your toddlers off at their independent nursery while you partake in your own independent activities. Your child can make new friends and learn new things in the nursery where they will teach the kids basic education. However, do note that these services do require money, where all the bills are charged to your room card.
